Bangor Business Awards

Bangor FM, one of SERC's three radio stations, provided live coverage of this year's Bangor Business Awards at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel on Friday night. 

Three volunteer presenters - Rachel Ferguson, Shirley Graham and Alastair Pollock, joined station manager Paul Cromie at the prestigious event and produced live Facebook and Twitter updates as the awards were announced. 

Winner interviews will form part of a special programme on Bangor FM on Monday 22 October at 3pm. 

Paula Kane from Bangor Chamber of Commerce said "It was fabulous to have our friends at Bangor FM at the Bangor Business Awards." 

Bangor FM also sponsored one of the most contested categories - Best Coffee Shop/Cafe - which was won by The Guillemot Kitchen Cafe.

Over 300 guests were at the awards ceremony and businesses across Bangor had a chance to win an award in 18 categories.
