Applications for Software Testers Programme Now Open

SERC are now taking applications for our Software Testers Programme, a six-week full time Monday to Friday course commencing 11 January 2021.

Emma Finney, Business Services Innovation manager said “The COVID-19 pandemic has left many in tough situations, and with that in mind this course has been offered to those who have been furloughed, made redundant or are facing possible redundancy or have had their employment opportunities affected by COVID-19. Applicants must also hold a minimum HND (Level 5) in a STEM related subject”

She added “The course will offer applicants the chance to gain knowledge on a range of different subject areas and software’s including, OOP with Java, ISEB Software Testers Foundation, Computer Fundamentals, Unix, and MTA Software Development Fundamentals C#.”

Emma concluded “The opportunity is there for those who find themselves in a challenging time to make the most of the situation by taking the first step on the path of a new career and/or enhance their own CV with new training”
