‘Accessibility Training’ will be hosted by The Learning Academy, running both face-to-face and online sessions over the coming weeks and months.

During workshops, we will focus on why content needs to be accessible and learn how to make documents created using Microsoft 365, and PDF documents, accessible to people using assistive technology. Staff will be given time and support to check existing documents for accessibility, apply improvements and create templates that support accessibility specific to your area of work.

As a public sector organisation, SERC is required to meet the Accessibility Regulations 2018. We recognise how important accessibility is and embrace the opportunity to provide information and services which can be accessed by all. You can find further information on the regulations here: Understanding accessibility requirements for public sector bodies - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
