The aim of ADHD awareness month is to show that people with ADHD need more support, understanding and access to services, and to break down the stigma surrounding it. 

The symptoms of ADHD can be categorised into 2 types of behavioural problems: 

  • Inattentiveness (difficulty concentrating and focusing). 
  • Hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
