South Eastern Regional College had the privilege of meeting Judith and Sam Gray recently for a tour around SERC’s Castle House building, where Sam used to study back in the 1950’s.
Sam also got a picture with the Cecil Webb Trophy – a trophy he won in 1955, when Castle House used to be Lisburn Technical School. They recounted stories of their time at the Technical School as they were shown some of the classrooms that they were taught in. They also got a tour of SERC Lisburn Campus and were amazed by the facilities on offer to students. They thanked SERC for taking the time to facilitate this visit.
SERC Lisburn Campus Manager Roger Duncan comments, “Thanks as well must go to SERC Senior Project Manager Sonya Smiley, SERC Caretaker Alan Fletcher and SERC Caretaker Jim McKiernan for helping co-ordinate the visit.”
