Talented students from SERC Bangor and Downpatrick Campuses are exhibiting their photography and art in a new exhibition, A Different View, which opens this evening, Thursday 9 February, 6.00pm – 8.00pm, at The Curve Gallery, Carnegie Library in Bangor.

Martina Corry, Lecturer in Art and Design, (Photography) said, “Putting on this exhibition gives our students valuable skills in planning, organising, display and exhibiting. We are delighted to have secured the opportunity to exhibit at The Curve Gallery and build on this annual event which has taken place since 2015.

She added, “This exhibition also allows the students to showcase their art alongside their peers from Art and Design courses across SERC, from different levels, specialisms and campuses. The skill and creativity of our students is impressive, and with many of the works for sale, there is an opportunity to own an original piece of art. I'm amazed at the response this year with nearly 70 works on display.”

Students from HND and Level 3 Music programmes will be performing this evening, so pop along, support the students, and enjoy the music and the artworks, which you can also purchase.  All proceeds from artworks for sale and charitable contributions are in aid of Air Ambulance NI.

The exhibition will run until 27 February 2023. Check gallery opening hours.
