SERC is partnering with EOS IT solutions to deliver high quality training in global tech skills for graduates via an Assured Skills Academy.
The assured skills programme works with global companies that have current job vacancies and offers pre-employment training to meet requirements for those jobs.
The six-week intensive course, funded through the Department for the Economy, offers 20 places for graduates in any discipline, with a guaranteed job interview on completion. There is a weekly training allowance of £155 and travel expenses will be reimbursed. Participants will attend South Eastern Regional College’s Lisburn Campus for training in areas such as Advanced Microsoft Excel and Prince2 certified Project Management.
Following the course, students will be interviewed for posts with EOS IT Solutions, offering the opportunity to work in areas such as Inside Sales, Procurement, Order Management, Customs, Logistics, Project Management and Trade Compliance.
Ken Webb, Principal and CEO of SERC, comments “South Eastern Regional College is delighted to be partnering with the Department for the Economy and with EOS to deliver this Assured Skills Academy. I would urge anyone who wants to develop and progress professionally, or who is looking to change career, to apply, benefit from high-quality tuition and gain the skills companies want. This is a prime opportunity to gain a recognised qualification and potentially to join a global company working with some of the world’s industry leaders.”
Applicants should have a Level 5 qualification (HND or Foundation Degree) or have work experience in customs and logistics/procurement/sales/project management or administration.
The deadline for applications for the EOS Global Tech Skills Academy is Monday 2 May 2022. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 11 May and Thursday 12 May. More information and details of how to apply are available on nidirect.
