SERC staff attend Work Well Live Well Recognition Event

SERC staff recently attended a celebration event for the Work Well Live Well programme, which recognised the achievements of the organisations who had taken part. The event also raised awareness of workplace health initiatives through several speakers.

Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS) deliver workplace health and wellbeing support services across Northern Ireland, and this includes the Work Well Live Well programme, funded by the Public Health Agency.

SERC partnered with NICHS in January 2021 as part of our commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of our staff.

NICHS initially carried out a wellbeing survey amongst staff, and following on from the findings, worked alongside the College’s Mind Yourself team to help focus initiatives, an activity which continues. The College’s Wellbeing Champions also had the opportunity to attend training to raise awareness of workplace health initiatives.
