Are you an adult considering returning to education?
If you answered yes, then why not join us on Thursday 16 May, 10am-2pm at our Newcastle Campus on Castlewellan Road.
Our staff will be on hand to provide information, advice and guidance on:
- Restart Education and Access to Higher Education courses
- Student Finance
- Careers Service
- Online application process
- Little SERC Creche
Requiring no formal qualifications, our part-time ‘Restart Education’ course can provide adults with support in a nurturing and welcoming environment while building skills in English, maths, science, IT skills, social science and well-being and resilience.
Adults who have some qualifications can join SERC on an Access course, designed for people who would welcome the opportunity to get to university, or who maybe feel they are ready to move forward in their career if only they had a degree… Maybe you've lost your job, or had a break from employment and want to change direction?
Little SERC Creche
Did you know our creche supports parents who want to attend Newcastle Campus. The creche is fully equipped and professionally staffed and offers care, play and learning for babies, toddlers and pre-school children on the same site as parents’ classes. Students may be eligible for a means-tested grant towards childcare costs.
