Level 4 Customs Practitioner Award
The advanced option of the Customs Practitioner Award looks at the four units covered in the Level 3 Customs Practitioner Award, with two additional units looking at Export Licensing Controls and Excise Duties. Enter a short description here.
This is a top course, you must complete Level 3 Customs Practitioner Award in order to complete the Level 4 course.
4 Revision classes will be offered for the L3 CPA with the 2 additional units delivered as full day courses. You must attend in order to progress to completion of the qualification.
The learning content is delivered through attendance at six live training events ( 4 at Level 3 CPA) which students access remotely via video call. Each module of learning is covered in a one-day session starting at 10am and finishing by 4:30pm.
Students will have access to CIOE online learning campus Canvas, through which the written assessments are administered.
Students must have completed the L3 Customs Practitioner Award in order to complete the L4 course.
The course is offered under SKILL UP, you must meet the following eligibility criteria to join the course:
- over 18 years of age;
- eligible to work in Northern Ireland;
- settled’ in Northern Ireland, and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years;
- or is a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.
Students are required to complete two 3000-word written assessments.
The first assessment will be based on the these three units of learning: Customs Procedures and Documentation How to Classify Your Goods Rules of Origin.
The second assessment will be based on these three units: Export Licensing Controls Excise Duties and Procedures Trading with the EU.
The qualification will pave the way for your business to import and export successfully across borders, or grow your own career and become an expert in trade. CIOE courses teach you how to understand and manage key trade and custom processes, giving you the practical skills so you can trade compliantly and with confidence.
