Course Overview
Over one year you will learn how to grow and care for a range of vegetables, herbs and fruit and gain an understanding of the principles of organic horticulture.  This course is assessed via the completion of workbooks and includes lots of ‘hands on’ practical activities.

You wish to learn how to grow your own fruit and vegetables organically.

How to grow and care or a range of herbs, vegetables and fruit over the seasons.  An OCN Level 2 Award will be achieved on successful completion of the workbooks.

The practical 'hands on' approach. 

There are a wide range of programmes for further study at SERC, including the RHS L2 Certificate in Plant Growth and Development and Garden Design.

An interest in fruit and vegetable growing.
