Course Overview

The course is structured to enable you to understand the complete design process and develop ideas, from client brief to final presentation and show. You will work on monochromatic, harmonious and contrasting room schemes and produce sample boards to present. Through practical projects students will achieve an understanding of the methods needed to develop scaled floor plans and initial sketches, through to detailed artists impressions and elevations and be competent in advising on colour schemes and how they work to create the right atmosphere, be able to select materials and fabrics and know how to complement with lighting and furniture and accessories.
