Course Overview

In this course learners will get the opportunity to look at some of the electronic components and systems inside everyday items and gadgets e.g. resistors, motors, switches, LED’s and microprocessors.

Students will learn about electronics through study and developments of small-scale projects e.g. development of an alarmed safe or light up display.

Your are a young person aged between 10 and 16 and have a keen interest in how things work and would like to learn how electronic systems operate.

Basic theory of electronics and its application to the development of real-world products.

The engaged method of delivery led by our expert staff.  Learner will learn by completing real world mini projects.

You may progress on to further study within the College.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course but students should have a keen interest in electronics and be willing to participate in the hands on activities. This course is suitable for children aged 10-16.
