South Eastern Regional College (SERC) will be delivering a free 12-week course to help you unleash your creativity and design your future.
Starting from Wednesday 6 November from 9.30am-12.30pm at the College’s Downpatrick Campus, Be Your Own Boss will provide an excellent introduction for those who have been away from education for a long time, helping you develop new skills and increase your confidence to study again.
The programme will also help participants in identifying their talents and drive. Through practical activities, you will be guided through creative problem solving that will give you an opportunity to tackle a real-world challenge or develop a new business concept.
Fully funded through Neighbourhood Renewable Fund, the programme will be delivered by SERC in a classroom setting one day a week at the College's Downpatrick Campus. This is an exciting partnership between County Down Rural Community Network, the Men’s Shed and local entrepreneurs, who will support SERC in delivering the course.
Participants must be a resident in the Downpatrick area and be over 18 years old. Application does not guarantee a place on the programme.
