What we do
Provision of effective support for the curriculum through engagement with employers and local communities, enabling sustained and successful involvement of learners in the work place whether through apprenticeships or other employer engagement PBL projects, Student Companies and the commercial outlets provide sustained realistic work experience; and alongside traditional placements and apprenticeships, support the curriculum through community and employer engagement.
The College’s food truck, ‘The College Kitchen’, a cattle trailer converted by Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Engineering and Creative Media staff and students, provides a state-of-the-art, mobile facility enabling students to trade in the community in addition to entering competitions.
