The Learning Academy will be offering workshops on Special Leave Protocol,  UCAS Tutor Role and LA Takeaway – Moving Into in the coming weeks.

Special Leave Protocol

“A short training session on the College Special Leave policy concentrating on the correct protocols in requesting this type of leave. There will also be some time dedicated for staff questions”

• 23rd Oct 10:00 – 11:00 – Newtownards
• 25th Oct 10:00 – 11:00 – Downpatrick
• 25th Oct 14:00 – 15:00 – Lisburn

UCAS Tutor Role  

“This training session will cover all aspects of the UCAS tutor role - from references to completion.”

• Wed 7th November – 10:30 – 11:30 – Downpatrick
• Wed 7th November – 14:00 – 15:00 – Bangor
• Thu 8th November – 10:30 – 11:30 – Lisburn
  

LA Takeaway – Moving Into…  

​“During this workshop staff will share their experiences of moving from one role into another - specifically moving into teaching and moving into management.​ If you have ever considered this, please come along and find out more. You are also welcome to come and find out more about the activities of the Learning Academy.”
