South Eastern Regional College’s Entrepreneur Club will be welcoming award-winning entrepreneur Katie Matthews to the College on Wednesday 26 February, 10.30am to 12.00pm at our Bangor campus' Central Hall for an inspirational talk open to students and staff.
Katie’s successful career has seen her listed as one of Northern Irelands “40 Under 40”. She is the founder of Excel in Education Tutoring School; The Mind Tribe UK and Young Entrepreneurs Network NI, a dedicated support and development network for 18 to 30-year-olds interested in business, entrepreneurship, leadership and professional development.
Katie will share her experience as a young entrepreneur, the importance of networking, and highlight some of the challenges any aspiring entrepreneur might face. Attendees will get the opportunity to ask Katie about her experience and career to date during a question and answer session, as well as discuss their own ideas with the multi award winning “edupreneur”. The session will be followed by a opportunity to network.
For students based in Downpatrick, Newtownards or Lisburn travel to and from the event can be arranged. If you are interested in attending this free event, book your place by visiting: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sercs-entrepreneurs-club-katie-matthews-tickets-94388064241
