Young Carers Action Day 2023

‘Make Time for Young Carers' is the theme for this year's Young Carers Action Day. As part of the initiative, SERC is offering student carers a voucher for a free meal, that can be exchanged at any SERC canteen. If you are a student carer interested in receiving a free meal voucher, please contact studentcarers@serc.ac.uk.

This day also highlights the need for professionals and responsible adults to make more time to listen to carers and to encourage them to talk about the challenges they face, so they can better understand the support carers require. This Young Carers Action Day, make a point of talking to a carer you know for just ten minutes, as it can make all the difference.
