SERC SU Raise Funds in Response to Turkey and Syria Disasters

This month, SERC’s Students’ Union have been fundraising for the Disasters Emergency Committee, in aid of their appeal to help those affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

SERC Sport hosted a Sponsored Spin with the Level 3 classes going head-to-head to see who could rack up the furthest distance in one hour. The students managed an impressive combined distance covering 65.1 miles! Very close competition, however Team A were the winners with a final distance covered of 32.7 miles.

So far, the Students’ Union’s appeal for the Disasters Emergency Committee has raised £410.76. Thank you to everyone who has kindly donated.
