Queen's University Belfast Foundation Degree Early Childhood Studies

This course is suitable for all students who wish to work in an early years setting. The course is delivered through a combination of classroom teaching and practical work placements. Both of these elements are a compulsory part of the course. There is a focus on helping you to develop the knowledge, skills and values necessary for employment and professional development with the Early Years sector. To apply for this course you must apply via UCAS at Stranmillis University.

Children's Care Learning and Development - Apprenticeship NI (Level 3)

The level 3 Apprenticeship NI is for students aged 18-24 who are already employed within the childcare industry in Northern Ireland on permanent contract working at minimum of 21 hours per week.

Childcare - Apprenticeship NI (Level 2)

The course is about being employed in permanent position and obtaining training to fulfill requirements as set by NISCC.

Childcare - Work Based Apprenticeship (Level 2)

This Level 2 Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to ‘Earn while you learn’ combining on the job training and delivery, with monthly workshops to gain the knowledge and experience needed to work in the Childcare sector.
