Worklink - Retail
This course provides an introduction to Retail for those who are new to the Retail sector and wish to gain a basic understanding of the Retail workplace and the roles within it.
This qualification is competence based and students are required to have a work placement in a Retail setting for assessment to take place.
Students are required attend class for one day per week.
Modules that may be covered include:
- Working effectively in a retail team
- Maintaining security and health and safety
- Stock replenishme
- Moving and Handling Stock
- Working as part of a Team to enhance students’ preparation for work skills.
