This is a Level 1 programme for those with mild learning difficulties.

Course Overview

This is a Level 1 programme for those with mild learning difficulties which is run by our Training Organisation.

This course can last up to three years and is aimed at improving your Literacy and Numeracy Skills whilst at the same time providing you with a Level 1 vocational qualification.

 You will gain City and Guilds qualifications in Employability and in Personal & Social Skills, Essential Skills, Numeracy, Literacy and ICT as well as qualifications in a vocational area of your choice.
 
Vocational areas on offer include:
  • Catering
  • Construction Skills
  • Hairdressing
  • Retail
Whilst on the programme you will be paid £40 per week and you will have up to 3 years to complete the programme.
