Course Overview

On completion of the workshop, you will have the skills to update your existing website, add new pages and have confidence in how to use the website builder.  

Note: This workshop only focuses on the design aspects of a Wix website and not the ecommerce functionality. Please contact the Business Services team for details on other support that we offer in this area.

Class time: 6 hour online workshop (3 hours p/w x2) to include step by step guides, live demonstrations, collaborative discussions, downloadable resources.

You’ll also love the variety of resources that you will be able to download during the workshop. These will be valuable in helping you to build your skills even after the workshop has finished.

You can complete some of the other workshops that SERC offer upon completion of this Wix workshop. Some of the workshops that you may be interested in are the SEO and Content Creation workshops.

There is a optional 1 hour one-to-one session with your tutor available, as an add-on to this workshop. This will come at an additional cost, looking specifically at your own Shopify Website and how to apply aspects learnt through the workshop.

An existing Wix website to which you have full access.

The workshops will run online, so in order for you to be able to participate, you will need:

  • A working microphone and speakers
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A laptop or desktop computer
