Life Skills is a part-time course designed for students with learning disabilities ranging from Entry 2 to Level 1.
This programme provides students with the skills to gain confidence in the community and boost their social experiences.
The course will involve working towards a City and Guilds qualification in Employability and Personal Development. There is an attendance commitment of 18 hours per week.
MENCAP support some students throughout the programme.
On provision of appropriate Special Educational needs evidence and completion of a taster session, more details regarding student timetables and confirmation of a place on the programme will be forwarded to parents/guardians.

If you have just completed your GCSEs Further Education is most likely the option for you. FE covers qualifications from entry to higher level qualifications such as Awards, Certificates, Diplomas, NVQ, BTEC and Apprenticeships.Explore Further Education
This is a 12-week programme, run in conjunction with the Prince's Trust for young people who have experienced barriers to employment and education.
Skills For Your Life (Level 1)
This course is for students who seek a new opportunity after their compulsory education.
Job Club - Employability And Personal Development
This programme is for students with moderate to severe special educational needs and aims to assist in providing students with the skills that are required to support them in employment and to improve and develop their own personal skills. This course helps you to improve your own personal and employability skills and gives you the opportunity to obtain work experience.
