Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business
Course Overview
The course consists of 13 units of which 7 are mandatory, 4 units are externally assessed and other units are internally assessed and externally moderated. You will work towards a Personal Development qualification and will be involved in a range of activities, designed to improve your employability. You will be required to complete Essential Skills in ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C in Computing.
Class learning will be supplemented with the use of guest speakers and visits to organisations in the public and private sector. Students will also use Project Based Learning (PBL) as a learning tool so they can develop hands on business management skills.
Students will also be assisted to develop enterprise skills and set up companies through the PBL activities they will be engaged in as part of learning within the course.
