Course Modules

 This unit has 7 Learning outcomes:

1. Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider

2. Be able to assess an incident

3. Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty

4. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking

5. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding

6. Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock

7. Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries  

Ideal If:

 You will gain experience in how to provide life saving first aid.

You'll Learn:

 First aid resources in giving CPR and using a Defibrillator and basis first aid 

You'll Love:

 This course is mainly practical.  You will be observed by how you provide first aid skills ie bandaging, basic cuts and cpr etc..

You'll Progress:

 There is not an actual progression route when you achieve this course.  It is an extremely excellent way to provide confidence in how to deal with day to day situations you may find in the workplace or at home.

You'll Need:

 There are no entry requirements needed for this course.  As it is mainly a practical course with a written multiple choice test at the end of the course.

You will need to attend the full hours of the course to obtain your qualification.
