Course Overview

Units will include:

Follow health and safety practice in the salon

Client care and communication in beauty-related industries

Provide manicure treatments

Provide and maintain nail enhancement

Provide nail art

you wish to develop your skills in nail technology

how to develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a salon environment and how to promote client care and communications in beauty related sectors. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification

working on clients in our commercial beauty salons

When you have successfully completed this qualification you may have the opportunity to progress to Level 3 Diploma in Nail Services or Level 2 Beauty

Over 18 years of age

A good standard of education.

As part of this qualification you are required to produce a portfolio of evidence.

You will be required to purchase a uniform and a kit.  Details of cost will be given to you by the lecturer.

For your practical assessments you will be required to bring in clients to the salon.
