4 hours contact time per week to include practical classes, lectures, workshops or tutorials
Personal Study
A further 4 hours independent study per week
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 12 months experience in a middle managerial role with Managing or Coaching responsibilities, for example:
- operations manager
- divisional manager
- departmental manager
- regional manager
- specialist manager, eg HR manager/Business partner; finance manager, production manager, procurement manager, etc.
OR minimum of 36 months experience as supervisor/team leader with aspects of Managing or Coaching responsibilities, such as:
- Team Leader
- Supervisor
- Project Officer
- Shift Manager/Shift Supervisor
- Foreperson.
And have the ability to carry out independent research and complete assignments.
Ideally you should hold the equivalent to a Level 3 qualification or higher.(ie: A level, access to higher education diploma, advanced apprenticeship, AS level, international Baccalaureate diploma, level 3 award, level 3 certificate, level 3 diploma, level 3 ESOL, level 3 national certificate, level 3 national diploma, or level 3 NVQ)
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Students are assessed using a range of different methods. These include examinations, coursework, Project Based Learning, presentations, practical, posters, leaflets, role-play, and case studies. This is dependent on the requirements of each unit of study. Oral, written and online feedback will be provided during your course to help improve and monitor performance.
Candidates will be required to compete a report / presentation to cover the programme assessment.
