18th Edition IET wiring regulations


The 18th Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations launched on 2 July 2018. Also known as BS 7671:2018, it’s an opportunity for all electricians to be up to date with the latest industry standards.

From January 1 2019, it will be a requirement that all electrical installations designed after this date comply with BS 7671:2018, 18th Edition.

Course Modules

 This course provides electrically skilled operatives the opportunity to be up to date with the latest industry standards.  The course will be delivered over a 3 day period.  To pass, candidates must achieve a single online assessment covering all 7 parts of BS 7671 and its appendices.  Successful completion of the course could lead to progression onto several electrical courses including, initial inspection and testing and periodic inspection and testing.   

You'll Need:

There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking the 18th edition qualification, however it is expected all candidates would have a good knowledge of electrical systems and electrical science.
