The CMI Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership course, is designed for Managers who are already operating at the strategic level and is designed to improve your ability to implement fundamental management and leadership models within your organisation's strategic framework.

In addition to completing the below modules, participants will receive an additional 10 hours mentoring from a management and leadership expert. Plus, on successful completion graduates will be invited to attend SERCs annual graduation ceremony held at Belfast Waterfront Hall in September 2020, to celebrate their achievements with family and friends.

OVERVIEW

The CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership will build on the managerial skills and knowledge you already have. It will give you a greater understanding of the various roles and responsibilities involved in strategic management. Developed for middle and senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, this qualification requires the manager to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation's strategy.

During the programme participants will work on a business improvement project which will build upon your management expertise that expands business capability, increases business growth and enables lasting change and growth.

Entry requirements:

Middle and senior managers with at least 5 years’ experience.

Price:

£1,500 (includes tuition and registration fees).  

Key Dates:

Induction will take place on 29 January 2020 at SERCs SPACE Campus, Castle Park Road Bangor from 6pm-8pm.

Classes will run on below dates:

  • 5 February 2020 3pm- 9pm
  • 6 February 9am-5pm
  • 18 March 3pm-9pm
  • 19 March 9am-5pm

Assessment

Assessment is via practical work-based assignments provided by SERC. This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own organisation’s context. The business improvement project  presentation is due on 5 June 2020.
