HE Virtual Graduation 2020
When will I receive my results?
If you have completed your course, you should have received your results by the end of August. If you do not know your results date, please contact your course tutor.
I must do a resit. When will that take place and where?
Resits have been arranged with each student through their course tutor. If you need any further information, you should contact your course tutor.
Will I still graduate this summer?
We are working hard to ensure that all Higher Education students who can complete their course this year do so. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and while we are not able to hold our usual September ceremony, students will still officially graduate ‘in absentia’ and you will still receive your award.
Can I still graduate if I must do a resit?
If you pass your resit and all fees are paid, yes you could still graduate.
How will the College celebrate my graduation this year?
We are planning a Virtual Graduation experience over the summer. More information on this will come soon. We will promote this on our website and social media channels.
Will I get to attend a Graduation at the Waterfront Hall?
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak there will be no in-person Graduation in September 2020, which normally takes place in the Waterfront Hall. We are working to finalise details for a Graduation at the Waterfront Hall early in 2021. We recognise this news is disappointing but the safety of our students, their guests and our staff remains paramount.
Will you be running another Graduation in the Waterfront Hall for us?
We are looking forward to welcoming you and your loved-ones once circumstances allow, to celebrate with us. We are working towards early 2021 for this but the final decision depends on the government guidelines. Once a rescheduled date has been confirmed, we will notify you via your personal email. We’ll also share the date on the website and on social media.
I want to share my Graduation success story, how do I do this?
We would be delighted to hear your story! If you have a success story you would like to share, please contact our PR Officer Fidelma Glass at email@example.com.
