Course Overview
This is a one year programme, run by our Training Organisation, which is all about getting you back into education and providing you with qualifications that will help you gain employment. This course requires an attendance commitment of 21 hours per week.

You will undertake City and Guilds qualifications in Employability and Personal Development studying subjects such as Planning for Progression and Managing Personal Finance.

There is a vocational element to this course in Creative Craft.

In addition you will have the opportunity to update your Essential Skills qualifications (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT).  

All students will take part in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award or The President's Award.

Entry Requirements

This course is designed for individuals for whom education has not been a success in the past.  No formal entry qualifications are required.

Age restrictions may apply.  Not open to anyone over the age of 22.

Where will it take me?
On completion of this course you may progress to employment or onto a vocational course under TfS or onto other College courses at the appropriate level.
How will it make me more employable?
This course will develop your employability and personal development skills and improve your Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment can be a combination of coursework and exams.
Additional Costs
There is usually an overnight residential which may have an additional cost.
