Prince's Trust

This is a 12-week programme, run in conjunction with the Prince's Trust for young people who have experienced barriers to employment and education.

Course Overview

This course is for young people who have experienced barriers to employment and education.  It is designed to help you overcome these barriers so that you can make a worthwhile contribution to society.

This course requires an attendance commitment of 21 hours per week.

This is a 12 week personal development programme and on successful completion of the course you will obtain a Prince’s Trust Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills at either Level 1 or Level 2.  This programme includes a 5 day Outdoor Pursuits Residential, Community Project, the opportunity to gain 2 weeks Work Experience, Jobsearch Activities and Team Challenges.

There are 3 programmes each year starting in September, January and April.

Entry Requirements
No formal entry qualifications are required.
Where will it take me?
The aim of the course is to provide young people with a way back into education or a way into employment.
How will it make me more employable?
This course is designed to give you the skills and confidence required to find and obtain employment.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Through a portfolio of work.
