Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals

This course covers a comprehensive introduction to network infrastructures and hardware as well as protocols and services required in functioning computer networks.

Course Overview
The course covers a comprehensive introduction to:
  • Network Infrastructures and hardware,
  • Protocols and services required in functioning computer networks.

As well as practical content, students will cover the knowledge required to successfully complete the MTA exam, which is carried out online.
Entry Requirements
Students should have practical experience in working with computer hardware and of installing and working with the Windows Operating System.
Where will it take me?
Career progression – this will allow progression to higher level professional study such as CISCO and MCP or to enable mature students to enter HNC programmes.
This course can assist career development in network and ICT support.
How will it make me more employable?
On completion, students will have an up to date globally recognised Microsoft qualification in Network Technologies
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment consists of an online Microsoft examination.
