Level 3 Floral Design

This course covers all aspects of flower arranging, from those of you who do the church flowers, to those who just like flowers at home.

Course Overview
This is a Floral Design course for everyone, from beginners upward.  Each week you will learn how to make different floral arrangements, from table decorations to hand tied bouquets.  The course is run in a flexible and fun way.  Everyone is welcome.  There will be a demonstration each week to show and encourage you how to do it. From using tea cups to watering cans as your container!

This course covers all aspects of flower arranging.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. This course is both for beginners and those who have completed previous courses in floral design.  Students need to supply their own flowers and containers.
Where will it take me?
Once completed an OCN NI Level 3 in Floral Design (which is equivalent to A level), would help students who want to follow up any  previous  courses, and would enable them to be more likely to gain a placement in a florist shop.
How will it make me more employable?
When you choose to continue your training with South Eastern Regional College, you’re making an investment that will pay for itself in many ways.  You’ll build your skills, expand your career opportunities and may even increase your income.  A part-time option offers you the best of both worlds – you can keep earning while you pursue your career goals.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment is carried out on an ongoing basis by the tutor, with students completing a portfolio of work which is tutor lead, during their course, and will be assessed by OCN NI at the end of the course.
