Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business

This course prepares you for the BA Hons Degree and employment in Business

Course Overview
This 1 year course is the equivalent e.g. 3 A Levels
Modules you will study may include:
Market Research
Understanding Retail
Web design
Managing a Bus Event
Small Bus
Creative Prod Prom
Business Ethics
 Bus Law
Accounting Systems
Management Accounts
Small Bus
You will also work towards a Personal Development qualification and will be involved in a range of activities, designed to improve your employability. 

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements include the following:
• BTEC Level 3 90 Credit Diploma 
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C or above in these subjects.
Where will it take me?
Successful completion of this course will lead onto further higher education study to a foundation/degree in specialist areas such as finance, marketing, human resources or law, and professional qualifications such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Institute of Personnel (IPD), Institute of Chartered or Certified Accountancy and Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Alternatively the course can also lead directly into a career in marketing, retailing and distribution, finance, banking and insurance, estate agency and management positions in the public and private sectors.

How will I be assessed and given feedback?
The course is 100% assessment based with 9 units assessed in each year.
