Course Overview

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Construction) – Solid (6573-05)

Plasterers prepare walls and ceilings for decoration and finishing.

This two year Level 3 course gives students the latest techniques in how to undertake plastering work and allows students learn the skills which are needed for the industry at a higher level. This course requires an attendance commitment of 15 hours per week.

 

MODULES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Principles of organising, planning and pricing construction work
  • Health, safety and welfare in construction
  • Running in-situ moulds
  • Applying plastering materials to detailed exteriors
  • Applying plastering materials to detailed interiors 
Entry Requirements
Students will require a minimum of 4 GSCE's and a Level 2 Plastering qualification or equivalent qualification.
 
Consideration will be given to mature students with industry experience.
Where will it take me?
This course will lead to a job in working as a plasterer or individuals may decide to start your own business.
How will it make me more employable?
The skills and techniques are the latest which students will then be able to go straight into industry.
