Course Overview
This Level 3 Diploma in Construction is a 1 year course and is equivalent to 2 A Levels.
Modules you will study may include:
  • Environmental Science
  • Building Technology
  • Building Regulations
  • Mechanical and Electrical Services and many more.
You will also work towards a Personal Development qualification and will be involved in a range of activities, designed to improve your employability.
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy or ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C in English or Maths or Computing.
Entry Requirements
Entry requirements include the following:
  • You must have completed the Subsidiary Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment
Where will it take me?
Successful completion of this course may lead directly onto Higher Education such as the HNC in Construction and the Built Environment.
Alternatively the course can lead into a career in the Construction Industry. Some of these areas include Architecture and Design, Building Control, Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying and Civil Engineering.
