Level 3 Award in Computerised Accounts

This qualification is aimed at candidates who are competent users of accounting software and who are seeking to develop skills required by today's businesses for the preparation and monitoring of financial data

Course Overview
Areas covered in Level 3 include:
Fixed assets and disposals, contra entries, bad debt write off and recurring entries.
Interpreting and processing both routine and non-routine transactions, together with the production of accounting reports such as a profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Computerised Accounts or a good working knowledge of a computerised accounting system such as SAGE.
Where will it take me?
On successful completion on this course you will be able to maintain accounts within a small to medium sized organisation or progress to a professional qualification such as ATI (Accoutancy Technician Ireland) programme.
How will it make me more employable?
Through the upskilling of current accounting practice in the workplace.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Externally by City & Guilds set examination
