Level 3 Award In the Periodic Inspection Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

This course is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before going onto other City & Guilds qualifications.

Course Overview
The qualification (2395) is also suitable for those with limited experience of periodic inspection of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.
Entry Requirements
It would be expected that candidates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience of electrical installation work either within the electrical contracting industry or an allied trade.
Where will it take me?

It allows candidates to progress into employment or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:

  • Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
  • ILM management and leadership qualifications
How will it make me more employable?
On completion of this course you will have the necessary qualifications required to gain employment within the Electrical trade.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment will be a mixture of practical, theory and online tests.
