Course Overview
The electrotechnical industry plays a key role in other industries – e.g. construction, engineering, manufacturing and electricians.
 
Modules may include:
  • Installing electrical systems inside a new building
  • Maintaining machinery on a production line.
  • Electrical Installations Technology
  • Principles of Electrical Science
  • Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
  • Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering
Entry Requirements
Students are required to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs from grade A-C including Maths and English.
 
An interview is also required with the course tutor before acceptance onto the course.
 
 
 
Where will it take me?
On completion of the course, successful students will have a national qualification allowing them to apply to progress to the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma.
How will it make me more employable?
This course will provide you with the skills, experience and qualifications for employment within the Construction Industry.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment will be both written and practical.
