This qualification is for learners who work or want to work as a patisserie chef or baker in the catering and hospitality sector.
This full-time programme of study will comprise of practical delivery in the college. Delivery of the programme will be both in the training kitchen and the classroom.
This course is designed primarily for learners who wish to develop intermediate practical skills and knowledge in a wide range of bread, pastry, flour confectionery and cake decoration techniques to support progress to the next level of vocational learning. It will allow candidates to learn, develop and practise the bakery skills required for employment and/or career progressions within the catering and hospitality sector.
