Level 2 Award in Organic Fruit and Vegetable Growing

This course provides an introduction in growing fruit and vegetables organically.

Course Overview

Over one year you will learn how to grow and care for a range of vegetables and fruit throughout the seasons, and gain an understanding of the principles of organic horticulture.  This is a hands on introduction to growing your own fruit and vegetables.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, just a keen interest in gardening. Applications are welcomed from beginners, more experienced gardeners, mature students and school leavers.

Where will it take me?

You may progress to any of our NOCN Level 2 Awards or Certificates in Gardening or Garden Design, to the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture, or to the HNC Horticulture.

How will I be assessed and given feedback?

Assessment is ongoing over the year, submitting a final portfolio at the end of term.
