Leisure Creative Ceramics

This leisure course will introduce you to a range of making techniques using clay, including slab building, coiling, press moulds and throwing of clay. The fee for this course includes the cost of materials required.

Course Overview
This leisure course will introduce you to a range of making techniques using clay. These will include slab building, coiling, press moulds and throwing of clay.
Use of slips and glazes will also be covered.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements to this course, just an interest in the craft. Students must bring an apron or an old shirt.

Continue to develop your skills on our Art & Design courses or progress to employment or to further study in a related discipline.

How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment is carried out on an on-going basis by the tutor.  There are no formal examinations
