Course Overview

This course encourages students to design and work on projects of their own choice. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to develop basic building skills.

Modules may include:

  • Design
  • Installation
  • Creation of Garden Walls
  • Creation of Fireplaces
  • Creation of Pillars
  • Creation or Arches

 

This is a practical class and students will be required to wear safety footwear and gloves when in the workshop.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, just the willingness to learn.
Where will it take me?
Students may progress onto a Level 1 in Trowel occupations.
How will it make me more employable?
This course is an introduction to the subject, but may lead to further study which lead to career progression.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
This is a practical beginners course with no formal assessments.
