Course Overview
This is a one year programme suitable from Entry 3 to Level 1, for those with a learning difficulty / disability.  The focus of the course is on improving employability and personal skills.  Topics covered can include;
  • Effective Skills for Learning and Work
  • Enterprise Activity
  • Use of ICT
  • Teamworking
  • Managing Personal Finance


This course is offered to some students after the successful completion of the two year Job Club course. 

Entry Requirements
There are no formal academic requirements for this course but you will need formal proof of having a learning disability and you will have to undergo an interview.
Where will it take me?
On successful completion of this course you can progress onto a Level 1 vocational TFS programme such as Catering,
Retail, etc.
How will it make me more employable?
This course will improve your confidence, communication, social and interpersonal skills.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
This course is assessed via a portfolio of evidence.
