Start your career as an Engineering Fabrication Apprentice and work within a highly skilled and thriving industry. You could earn up to £25,000 per year when fully qualified!*
SERC have partnered with Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) and a consortium of local employers including Fabrite Facades, Spence Engineering, EDM Spanwall, KME Steelworks and Environmental Fabrications to recruit and provide highly trained, motivated and professional engineers.
The Scheme will run for three years during which you will receive a wage and be matched to an employer.
You will use your skills to develop engineering solutions and will have the opportunity to work in a highly technical industry. On successful completion of the scheme you will have the skills and knowledge required for a career in the Engineering and Fabrication sector, which could see you involved in the manufacture of everything from bridges, structural steel, cladding systems, ventilation, marine and agriculture products.

Entry Requirements
- Aged 16+
- 5 GCSEs grades D-G (including Maths and English at grade D), or equivalent.
- Interested in a career in the Engineering industry
- Ability to travel to SERC Lisburn and any of the consortium companies.
